Development of an IoT-Enabled Air Pollution Monitoring and Air Purifier System

Air Pollution is one of the severe hazards which affect health quality all living beings and environment itself, especially in urban areas. It creates significant issues many countries harms human if its concentration exceeds tolerable levels. Monitoring these pollutants their concentrations a crucial preventative measure to alert public air area. The primary objective this paper design smart pollution prototype purify with help PM sensor, gas sensors, analog digital converter (ADC), Raspberry Pi 3 B+ microcontroller, multiple filters (Step-by-step filtering particles from sizes 200 0.3 µm will be done by different filters). MQ2 MQ135, presence/concentration LPG, smoke, CO, CO2, NH4 before after process. PMSA003 sensor detects Particulate Matter (PM) range microns 10 microns. ADC convert outputs sensors into particles. These results are transmitted Thingspeak Cloud platform through WiFi Module. can viewed any system/mobile platform. gases measured size various plotted filtration, compared. found that designed filter effectively above µm. performance efficiency test both monitoring purifier system done.
